The business of Comar is the manufacture of metal carboxylates. These products are used as Synthetic Rubber catalysts, paint driers, and polyester acceleratorsand other proprietary applications.Highly Innovative products have set aside Comar as a supplier of specialised chemicals, designed to suit customer's individual requirements. Comar's latest product developments include Cobalt Rubber Adhesion Promoters, as well as nano-particle chemicals. The manufacturing plant is situated in Atlantis near Cape Town, South Africa.
Plant Capacity
We are currently able to manufacture approximately 1000 tons per month of
metal carboxylates at our chemical plant in Atlantis, near Cape Town. Modern processes are automatically controlled to ensure consistent production of high quality products.
Markets
Approximately 80% of our companies turnover arises from exports outside of Africa.
Our primary markets are Europe, USA and South America, and South East Asia.
